Brand refresh for a luxury holiday home
Kasa Byron is a high-end holiday home near Byron Bay, and they needed bespoke maps and plans designed as well as an upgrade for their brand.
The Story
When Jerrie of Kasa Byron approached me, her initial brief was to create branded maps and plans for her luxury holiday home. However it quickly became apparent that she wasn’t happy with the branding itself. She knew it didn’t quite hit the mark and could not work out why. So we worked out the issues, and refreshed her brand to something she loves.
The new logo design retains some of the elements Jerrie knew suited the brand – a traditional serif font paired with a handwritten style tagline. However I altered the serif typography (significantly kerning and improving balance). I created a better monogram, with softer colours and more sophisticated overall design. The adjustments are subtle, but the impact is enormous.
